- Abstract
This paper examines the intricate relationship between sports and politics in the United States, emphasizing how sports have become a platform for political expression and activism. Through qualitative analysis of case studies involving athlete activism, sports-related political policy decisions, and public responses, this study illuminates the multifaceted ways sports intersect with political life in America. The findings suggest that sports not only reflect societal political divisions but also serve as a catalyst for political discourse and change. This research contributes to the broader understanding of the sociopolitical impact of sports and offers insights into leveraging sports as a medium for political engagement and dialogue.
