These proceedings contain selected papers from that symposium, which was held virtually on November 29, 2023, in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. This symposium was organized by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Following the presentation and a thorough peer-reviewed procedure, nineteen papers were chosen and published in international conference proceedings by Atlantis Press. These articles address a variety of topics, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, data mining, architecture, and civil engineering. We hope all of the articles in this proceeding will help both academics and practitioners in engineering applied sciences expand their expertise. We thank everyone who contributed to the symposium and the publication of these proceedings. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all symposium attendees, presenters or writers, keynote speakers, and committees that organized this event.
