Research method adapted Stuart Hall’s encoding-decoding model to the online space, it will analyze the comparison between the discourse that the encoder wants to build with the interpretation built by the decoder. We found that netizen’s interpretation divided into three preferred reading, there are dominant-hegemonic (agreement and compliment), negotiated reading (redefined, question, and suggest), and oppositional reading (disagreement and not related).
