2nd Jogjakarta Communication Conference was held on 18th-19th March 2020 at Grand Dafam Rohan Hotel Yogyakarta. This conference is hosted by Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and Asosiasi Pendidikan Ilmu Komunikasi Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah (APIK-PTMA). Social and technological changes due to Industry 4.0 are apposite to communication. With Industry 4.0 demanding more competences in communication skills, the curricula of the communication department across universities must anticipate and adopt the changes. Therefore, not only should research regarding Industry 4.0 be developed, but also its relation to multiculturalism. Responding to the above phenomenon, then the 2nd Jogjakarta Communication Conference presents Communication 4.0: Challenging Technology, Theory, and Multiculturalism.
