The 5th International Seminar on Science and Technology 2023, which has the theme “Green Innovations and Technologies to Advance Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” is an annual conference primarily organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Tadulako University, Indonesia.

The ISST carries on the legacy of bringing together professionals, scholars, researchers, and students who are specialists in science and technology each year. Seventy-seven prestigious researchers were invited to this two-day conference, which featured seven exceptional keynote and plenary speakers from Germany, Australia, China, the USA, Malaysia, South Africa, and Indonesia.

Seventy-nine submitted papers were selected for publication after a blind peer-review process. We want to thank all authors, collaborators, and organizational members for their hard work and involvement in this seminar. We also hope that the knowledge in these proceedings will benefit scholars and students worldwide.
