Abstract

The paper is concerned with definitions of the concept “psychological readiness”. The paper discusses psychological and pedagogical approaches to the essence of the concept “psychological readiness” in scientific studies. Various definitions of the concept “psychological readiness” and their content-related components are discussed. Based on the analysis of scientific sources, the functions, types and mechanisms of formation of the psychological readiness are singled out.
