- Abstract
With the continuous strengthening of economic globalization, English, as a cross-cultural communication language, plays an important role in spreading Chinese culture. As an excellent traditional Chinese culture, tea culture contains rich historical and cultural heritage. Although the current cross-cultural teaching has fully realized the importance of tea culture, in the actual cross-cultural teaching practice, tea culture should only be mentioned briefly by expanding knowledge. This paper aims to study the measures of integrating tea culture into cross-cultural teaching, such as designing tea culture curriculum with local characteristics, selecting corresponding teaching materials and using virtual simulation experiment teaching technology to infiltrate tea culture into all aspects of cross-cultural teaching. Integrating tea culture elements into the classroom can effectively enhance students’ sense of identity and self-confidence in Chinese culture, as well as their ability of cross-cultural communication, thus spreading Chinese culture all over the world.
