- Abstract
This study examines music therapy as a clinical treatment within psychology, and its implications within the learning environment to enhance education. It identifies the formation of music therapy and outlines its usage within clinical research and treatments. It highlights the implication of music therapy treatment towards autism learning disabilities, post-stroke aphasia patients, and psychological disorders. It demonstrated the brain’s plasticity to adapt under the acoustic treatment of musical notes. Clinical practices demonstrated the treatment of the different mental illness group and assess its outcomes. Consequently, the essay foregrounds a discussion to evaluate the effectiveness of music therapy.
