Abstract

With the in-depth development of information technology, in the field of education and teaching, teaching ideas, teaching methods and teaching models have ushered in an important opportunity for development and innovation. The emergence of online learning mode has greatly enriched students' learning ways and simplified the learning process. The application of online and offline hybrid teaching mode in College English teaching can better give play to the advantages of online teaching resources and the interactive advantages of offline teaching, help to improve the quality and effect of English teaching, and also provide assistance for the integration and development of environmental protection concepts. Combined with the advantages of the current online and offline hybrid teaching mode, this paper analyzes the significance of integrating the concept of environmental protection into College English teaching from the two aspects of feasibility and necessity, and deeply analyzes the practical problems existing in the integration of the concept of environmental protection in College English teaching, and puts forward corresponding integration strategies, hoping to better enhance students’ awareness of environmental protection and better serve college English teaching.
