- Abstract
The double reduction policy is an education policy promulgated by the National Institute of Education of China on July 4, 2021, aiming at the reform of schools and extra-curricular classes in order to reduce the pressure on students. The purpose of the research is to understand the specific impact of the implementation of the double reduction policy on students and students’ demands after the implementation of the policy, which is of great importance to the subsequent adjustment and improvement of the policy and secondary education. This paper consists of two experiments, using SCARED anxiety Scale and individual case survey. Questionnaires were used to analyze students’ cognition level and anxiety status of the double reduction policy, and interviews were used to understand students’ specific demands. The results of this paper will be adjusted for subsequent school arrangements, teachers and parents.
