- Abstract
The polymorphic variant of the CYP2D6 A18496G gene was studied as one of the most clinically significant in the MFD etiology in the Chechen population. Statistically significant effect of the GA genotype in relation to malignant breast tumors in women (OR = 1.93 at 95% CI = 1.20-3.09, p = 0.005) and the increase of the renal diseases risk and development of diabetes were revealed. Heterozygous genotype of patients with acute cerebrovascular disease ensures the protective effect.
