- Abstract
Historical changes in semantics of the word chrevatyi are connected with the axiology and influence its syntagmatics and paradygmatics. In addition, the word chrevatyi develops new subordination, used as a predicative adverb and starts to form the comparative. All these new lexical and grammatical features of this word can be observed in the texts of contemporary literature.
