- Abstract
The Bulgarian constructions with the inflectional particle se resulting from voice transformations and actant derivations (passive and subjective impersonal) can convey both actual and non-actual meaning. The present paper reviews the habitual and modal meanings of the se transformations, identifies the factors contributing to the ambiguity of resulting sentences and the means of their disambiguation.
