Abstract

The purpose of this research to know the role in raise reading interest library management students through borrowing, management a reading room, a collection of books and interaction with the school. This study the use of qualitative. The result of research obtained: (1) the role of the library in terms of lending in improving am read that facilitate loams provide a library card, socialization way lending book, did loans graciously and communicative, the increase in human resources in the library, the present for most student borrow a book; (2) the role of management library in terms of management a reading room in raise reading neat and to be clean, extending the reading room, environmental comfortable; (3) the role of the management of the library in terms of collection of books in improving diverse collection of books, the involvement in the collection of books, increase the number of a collection of books, and (4) the role the school library. Management through interaction student in the cooperation with the school principal, teacher government and private.
