- Abstract
This study aimed to find out intrinsic elements, types of dyslexia, and teaching strategies for child with dyslexia in the movie entitled taree zameen par. The research method used in this study is content analysis method. The source of data is the movie of Taree Zameen Par by amir khan. Method of collecting the data is triangulation: movie, interview and book review. The data of this study were analyzed by following steps: watch the movie, understanding the content, making movie transcription, underlining the words which related to intrinsic elements of the movie, types of dyslexia, and teaching strategies for dyslexic child, identifying the data, classifying certain words, reanalyzed to avoid mistakes, Coding the data after all process in analysing is completed. After analyzing there are intrinsic elements developed in the movie entitled Taree Zameen Par, three types of dyslexia in the movie: directional, primary, and phonological dyslexia, and teaching strategies used by teacher: care to ishaan, looking for all ishaan’s book while learning in the school, teach ishaan individually without other students. From analyzing the intrinsic elements, types of dyslexia, and teaching strategies for dyslexic child hopefully it could build spirit, care, and inspiration for the teacher who is teaching in a school that has a child with character like in this movie.
