- Abstract
This study aims to analyze some Shari’a-compliant regional regulations in Indonesia with theTheory approach Maslahah. There are three reasons why this research is important. First, the shari’a-compliant regional regulations have become controversial in their implementation amidst the mutikultural community. Secondly, the Shari’a regulation is often regarded as a sharia regulation in accordance with shari’a values so that there is a distinctive arrogance in the authority to interpret Islamic law. The third rule with the nuance of such success when reviewed fromcomplies Maslahah is whether itwith the values contained in Maslahah. From the results of this research, it is documented that some of the rules of the Shari’a language conform to the values of Masahah Shari’a, but some do not reflect thevalues Maslahah. It is based on the fact that thevalues are Maslahah Shariintended for the social control of the people by providing for the common good, while the Shari’a rules are still less and far from thevalues Maslahah and more important to the interests of groups and groups.
