- Abstract
The Indonesian structure of profession is still dominated by agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, with high poverty levels and a high proportion of informal workers. Using the Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition method, this study aims to see the influence of discrimination and characteristics of formal and informal workers in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. Results show that the discrimination factor has more impact than the endowments factor. The endowment factors that affect income are age, gender, region of residence, marital status, the existence of toddlers, and on-the-job training.
