Abstract

The purpose of this study was to conduct an empirical data search on the knowledge of elementary school teachers in designing learning devices as support schools based on Lore Lindu National Park. Based on the results of observations, interviews and instrument searches using a questionnaire. This research is qualitative/natural descriptive research. Data collection is done by: 1) observing the learning process in progress, 2) interviews with principals, teachers, students 3) documentation and literature study. The results of the data in this field were analyzed by going through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing/verification. The findings of the data in the field show that teacher knowledge related to developing complete learning tools integrated in the lesson plan (learning implementation plan), teaching materials, media and learning evaluation is important and as the main competence in carrying out the task as an educator, however the reality on the ground that teachers do not have material sources, both local content and thematic-based materials, Lore Lindu National Park. The findings of the data obtained are the low level of teacher ability in designing the development of learning tools based on Lore Lindu National Park in the range of 30%, the lowest range.
