Proceedings of the 2015 International Forum on Energy, Environment Science and Materials
Energy and environment have become the central theme in several fields of research and in various policy arenas. The 2015 International Forum on Energy, Environment Science and Materials (IFEESM 2015) provides a forum for accessing to the most up-to-date and authoritative knowledge from both industrial and academic worlds, sharing best practice in this exciting field. The conference was successfully held in Shenzhen on 25-26 September, 2015.
The present volume contains the selected papers from many submissions for this conference and provide up-to-date, comprehensive and worldwide state-of-the art knowledge in this field. All papers included in this collection have undergone careful peer-review by the experts before being selected for publication. The total number of submitted papers was 815 and 314 were accepted. This volume covers the following subtopics: environment protection and biological protection; energy development, resources utilization, and energy-saving technology; materials processing technology, manufacturing and equipment; electric power, electronics and automation; noise environment, thermal environment and architecture environment design; ecological economy, circular economy, low carbon economy, and sustainable development; green buildings, energy-saving buildings, low-carbon construction, ecological building; water environment, water resources, protection and exploitation; disaster prevention and mitigation; planning and design of urban, rural, transportation and landscape.
The main objective of the book is to take the energy–development–environment discussion a step further. The book is intended to serve as resource material for scientists working on related topics in many disciplines, including energy science, environmental sciences, new materials, economics and policy analysis.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all authors and participants for helping to make it a productive and interactive meeting.
