- Abstract
The total nitrogen (TN) concentration of Datong Lake has exceeded the standard concentration due to some artificial causes. Inflow from channels may be an effective method to help lower TN concentration and improve water quality. In this paper, a lake-channel network numerical model is set up for Datong Lake to simulate and study the effects of inflow from channels. The model simulation result shows that under the water level condition of 50% cumulative probability, TN concentration in Datong Lake can reduce to the concentration of class in 80 days after inflow.
