Abstract

Learning media according to Schramm (1977), is defined as a carrier technology messages that can be used for learning purposes. According to Briggs (1977), media learning is defined as a physical means to convey content or material such as books, films, videos, and so on. Gagne (1970) stated that the media learning is the various types of components in the student environment that can stimulate students to study. It can be said that learning media is an integral part of learning process. To achieve maximum learning outcomes, students must be proficient using learning media as a teaching aid or as a support. Matter This is useful in order to make the material or content of the lesson clearer and easier understood by students. Student learning interest can be influenced through internal factors and external factors. Factor internal comes from within the student itself, while external factors are factors originating from the external environment. Based on the elaboration of these two factors, external factors plays an important role in the effectiveness of a student's learning. In this case, the selection of media learning is an important component in increasing this effectiveness.
