- Abstract
This study aimed to develop a ReWELO Model and a guidebook for the ReWELO implementation. The method to develop the ReWELO model was research and development adapted from Borg & Gall. The ReWELO model implementation was evaluated through competency and portfolio assessments. The subjects for the competency assessment were 18 students from 18 public and private Vocational High Schools running the Electrical Engineering Expertise Field in the Special Region of Yogyakarta while the subjects of portfolio assessment were 13 people from the informal sector, civil servants, industry, BATAN, PT KAI Yogyakarta, POLDA DIY, and AAU DIY. The instruments of the study consisted of questionnaires and observation sheets. The instruments' validity and reliability were assessed through expert judgment and Cronbach's Alpha respectively. The collected data were then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study were as follows: (1) The ReWELO model could be implemented through 2 methods, namely competency and portfolio assessments. (2) The developed ReWELO Model was categorized as very good to be applied with an appropriateness score of 3.67. (3) The t aspects of portfolio components and language were categorized as valid with validity value of 3.69 and a very valid with the validity value of 3.71 respectively.
