- Abstract
This research was motivated by low of learning outcomes and lack of mastery of student life skills in Woodworking Engineering. The purpose of the study was to reveal the impact of Job Shadowing implementation in Woodworking Engineering subject to student learning outcomes and their life skills. The hypothesis was that there was a significant impact of Job Shadowing implementation to student learning outcomes and their life skills. This study was a quasi experimental research with Nonequivalent Control Group Design and conducted on Civil Engineering Department Technical Faculty, Universitas Negeri Padang. The sample was 32 students and were selected by random cluster sampling from the population of 64 students. Data were collected by using portfolio and observation. All data were analyzed by using SPSS 17th version. The findings, that the Job Shadowing implementation in Woodworking Engineering has gave a very significant improvement on the student’s learning outcomes, and their life skills.
