- Abstract
This study aims to analyse digital literacy and the use of social media in flood disaster information response among high school students in Jakarta. The method used was a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques, and data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 79 high school students in SMA YMIK 2 Jakarta and SMAN 37 Jakarta. The results of the study show that social media, especially TikTok, is the main source of information for students in obtaining information about flood disasters. In addition, the majority of students also use platforms such as Twitter and WhatsApp to get information related to disasters. The study also revealed that most students do not verify the information they receive before sharing it. Few students verify the information through official websites or confirmation with authorities.
