- Abstract
The China Rural Development Report 2020 projects that the proportion of people aged 60 years or older in rural China will reach 25.3% by 2025, or about 124 million people. The study will adopt a qualitative literature analysis method and select 23 Chinese research papers for analysis. The study aims to understand and explore the social background of rural mutual care, explore the development status and dilemmas of rural mutual care, and clarify new ideas for the long-term development of rural mutual care from the perspective of rural community reengineering, so as to provide a better understanding of the social background of rural mutual care.
