- Abstract
When "culture + tourism" becomes a new hot spot in the tourism industry, tourism has become an important way of cultural propaganda and cultural dissemination. Although the cultivation of intercultural communicative competence of foreign language tour guides and other related industries has been paid more and more attention, there are still some problems to be solved in depth. First of all, the number of foreign language tour guides is scarce, especially in minor language. Second, the foreign language tour guide's cross-cultural communication ability is insufficient, the related ability cannot be tested in the qualification examination. Thirdly, the career promotion channel of foreign language tour guide is narrow, the promotion incentive is insufficient, and there is also a lack of relevant career guidance platform. The improvement and solution of these problems require top-down policy guidance and reform in the field of education and teaching.
