Improving the safety performance of building structures, and researching and applying advanced seismic theory and technology have become important issues to be solved in the field of civil engineering. The 2024 6th International Conference on Structural Seismic and Civil Engineering Research (ICSSCER 2024) was held to provide a high-level academic platform for the scholars, researchers and technical professionals across the globe to promote professional cooperation and exchange, and foster mutual understanding. During the conference, participants exchanged their research results and insights in depth through keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster exhibitions, academic communications and other forms. These exchanges not only deepened the academic ties among the participants, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
