- Abstract
The purpose of the study was to analyze the impact of academic social adaptation on the ethics of student demonstrations at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Makassar State University. This type of research is qualitative. with a phenomenological approach. Data collected by methods: interviews, observation, and documentation. Validation of data through: Observation Persistence, Triangulation, Detailed Description, Auditing. Data were analyzed by categorization. The results of the study showed that each person’s / student’s actions, attitudes, and behaviors as a result of his insight into academic and social intellectuality. Whatever actions, attitudes, behaviors, including demonstrations, the accuracy of the accuracy parameter is not only highlighted in the context of explicit academic regulations, but also must consider the foundation of academic social ethics implicit in the cultural context and wisdoms as values that are upheld in life social community. Ethics is something that is not written but it is inappropriate whether or not the attitudes, behaviors, actions and actions of the demo also cannot be separated from the ethical parameters themselves that have been realized by every individual in a civilized society, intellect, and even society that is considered traditional even though ethics is a matter urgent in all manifestations of their social interaction which is upheld as an individual honor and at the same time the honor and dignity of the people legally from generation to generation.
