- Abstract
The purpose of this study was: 1) The influence of employee competency in employee performance in the Faculty of Social Science, Makassar State University. 2) Effect of reward system on employee performance in the Faculty of Social Science, Makassar State University. 3) Influence of competence, reward system for employee performance in the Faculty of Social Science, Makassar State University. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study was all employees at the Faculty of Social Science, Makassar State University. He analysis used to analyze the data is the product moment correlation. The results of this study are 1) The amount of employee competency contribution that directly contributes to the performance of the weakest category Faculty of Social Science, Makassar State University employees. 2) The amount of the reward / compensation system contribution to employees who directly contribute to employee performance. 3) Simultaneously employee competency (X1), Compensation of Faculty of Social Science, Makassar State University Employees (X2), with strong performance of Faculty of Social Science, Makassar State University Employees.
