The 1st International Conference on Social Sciences (ICSS 2018), held on October 18th-19th, 2018 in Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali, Indonesia brings together researchers, practitioners, educators, policy-makers, community leaders across disciplines and sectors, to exchange ideas and advance evidence-based policies and practice concerning Social Sciences. This conference was held with the cooperation of several universities incorporated in a consortium called International Joint Conference on Science and Technology (IJCST). IJCST hosted the conference since 2015 until 2017. Since there was an increase in the number of consortium members as well as in order to accommodate the diversity of the field of sciences, hence since 2018, the consortium organized a special conference in the field of social sciences.
