- Abstract
This research aimed to analyze the role of elite religion in the development of society in Kawangkoan Subdistrict. This research was qualitative research. Data collecting in this research was observation, interview, library study. This research used data analysis technique that consisted of those three activities were data reduction, data presentation, and concluding which occurred at the same time. This research found believing elite religion to develop a society in Kawangkoan Subdistrict was high, then in the effort of development program demanded there should be coordination between government and leader of the faith.
