- Abstract
The concept of halal tourism has gained significant attention in recent years, especially in multicultural destinations where the integration of religious and cultural practices is crucial. This research aims to explore the role of cultural diversity in realizing inclusive halal tourism, with a focus on managing multicultural destinations. This research uses a qualitative approach based on cultural tourism theory that draws on various sources to examine the current state of halal tourism and its relationship with cultural diversity. The research highlights the importance of cultural sensitivity and understanding in meeting the needs of diverse Muslim travelers, who are driven by religious obligations and preferences for halal practices. The research concludes with the importance of a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to halal tourism, which recognizes and respects the diversity of Muslim tourists while also preserving the unique cultural heritage of the destination.
