Proceedings of the 2017 International Conference on Social science, Education and Humanities Research (ICSEHR 2017)
International Conference on Social Science, Education and Humanities Research (ICSEHR2017) has been held at Xi’an Jiaoda NanYang Hotel in Dec.22-24, 2017, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China. Xi’an is located in China’s central region, it is recognized as one of the most important cities in China with Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. The conference venue is at Xi’an Jiaotong University, nearby the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and its premises is facing the old building, donating to the conference a touch of fascination and a thick cultural background.
This is the first occurrence of ICSEHR and it will be a series conference, which will be held annually. The first session will be held in the beautiful ancient city of Xi 'an, China, and it will be held all over the world afterwards. This conference is a high level international forum for scholars to share views and experiences in sociology, education and e-learning, communication studies, internet cultural studies and related areas, to disseminate information in innovative ideas, excellent designs, experiences and teaching skills. For this conference, there are 165 manuscripts were submitted, and 56 papers were accepted, the acceptance rate is about 34%, all the different topics would be represented.
To ensure the quality of the conference, all submitted manuscripts are reviewed by the program committee first and then send to the related experts. All reviewers are associate professors or above, and they are all related professional experts. After two rounds of double-blind reviews for each paper, 56 papers were accepted for publication.
The conference is mainly organized by Xi’an Technological University, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, supported by the Missouri Western State University, USA, University of Hong Kong, China, Northwest University, Xi'an, China, Chang'an University, Xi'an, China, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National Kaohsiung First University of Science Technology, Taiwan, China, National University of Singapore (NUS).
On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to express our thanks to the keynote speaker, the conference invited four keynote speakers on Social Science, Education, Teaching and Humanity to state their innovative ideas and research results. The four experts will give excellent speech to the conference, one of them is from Singapore and two are from the USA, the president of Xi’an Technological University will give an excellent speech.
The local organizing committee has been playing a fundamental role in the conference preparation, each of our members gave an outstanding contribution. A particular acknowledgement should be given to Prof. Wang zhongsheng (China) and Prof. George Yang (USA), who covered different roles at the same time, identified the best solution for many of the problems occurring before and during the conference.
We sincerely thanks to all the authors for preparing and submitting their papers to the conference, it is their dedication that makes this event a reality. Finally, the smooth publication would not be possible without the timely support and assistance from the Atlantis Press, particularly from Debora Woinke, the Junior Publisher.
