Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Social, Business, and Academic Leadership (ICSBAL 2019)
On behalf of the ICSBAL 2019 Organizers, it is my pleasure to present to your attention these Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on social, business, and academic leadership (ICSBAL 2019).
Our 4th International Conference on social, business, and academic leadership (ICSBAL 2019) was held in Prague by the Prague Institute for Qualification Enhancement on 21-22 June 2019. Conference organisers succeeded in bringing and accommodating together professors, researchers, graduate students, and businessmen from 10 countries. The Conference featured several keynote addresses, oral presentations, and poster presentations that sparked vivid discussions.
Our Conference was a follow-up of the 1st International Conference “Social, economic, and academic leadership for the future sustainable development of business and education" held in Prague during from 12th to 15th of September 2017 and several subsequent events and conferences on the same topic held in 2018 and 2019 which also resulted in highly-cited proceedings published by Springer Nature and Atlantis Press.
All the papers published in these Proceedings were collected and clustered into the five Conference tracks covering similar thematic areas which allowed the organizers to present the contributions in a logical and structured way. Thence, the overall final structure of the Proceedings from the ICSBAL 2019 Conference can be described as follows:
Leadership as a social and cultural paradigm
Leadership in business
Leadership in education
Leadership in energy economics and policy
Leadership in international relations
The Proceedings offer an international mix of outstanding contributions from 10 countries including China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, and Ukraine. Most of the papers are interdisciplinary in their nature and scope and are co-written by the groups of up to three of researchers from several countries. This fact increases the relevance and the multidisciplinary approach of our Proceedings.
In general, I believe that the Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on social, business, and academic leadership (ICSBAL 2019) would make an interesting read for all experts and non-experts alike. I also hope they would become a source of inspiration for anyone interested in leaders and leadership.
