Conference: Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Reinventing Business Practices, Start-ups and Sustainability (ICRBSS 2023)
Date: 2-3 November 2023
Location: Chennai, India (Hybrid)
Website: https://icrbsssrmvdp.wixsite.com/page The 3rd edition of International Conference on Reinventing Business Practices, Startups, and Sustainability-Responsible Consumption and Production-ICRBSS 2023 aimed to bring together scholars, researchers, educators, and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the spheres of businesses, regulatory environment, consumer groups, advocacy agencies and the environment at large. The sub-theme of the conference this year—Responsible Consumption and Production—is the 12th goal of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The present volume “Reinventing Business Practices, Start-ups, and Sustainability” brings out the selected papers from seven conference tracks presented by the delegates from national and international institutions during the conference. The conference tracks included: • Sustainability in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
• Sustainable Marketing Practices.
• Sustainable Practices in Finance and Economics.
• Sustainable Practices in OB and HR.
• Sustainable Practices in Manufacturing and Operations.
• Sustainable Practices in IT and Analytics.
• Sustainable Development Goals in Business. While the seasoned authors had demonstrated their prowess in their chosen area of the study and provided valuable insights in the respective research papers, the budding authors including some research scholars had showcased their enthusiasm for research and brought out interesting perspectives for various stakeholders from the domains of business, government, and the society at large. The conference provided a platform for industry experts, policymakers, and the academic fraternity to share their experiences and insights. A total of 304 abstracts were received, and 247 full papers were submitted, from which, 84 papers have been selected to be included in the proceedings. Over 150 authors from all over India, and from our International Collaborating Universities—Lincoln University College, Malaysia and University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Sultanate of Oman, worked diligently to produce 84 papers across the domains-sustainability being the linking thread. The talks delivered in physical and virtual modes by eminent industry experts and academic leaders added great value to the participants. Nevertheless, this volume would not have taken the right shape as it is seen without the dedicated efforts from the team of Atlantis Press Conference Proceedings, Part of Springer Nature. We thank the management of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani, for the opportunity, Dr Sudarsan Jaisingh, from SSN School of Management for his valuable guidance throughout and our sponsors for their generous support, and everyone who contributed directly and indirectly for bringing out the present title. We commit ourselves to contribute more such meaningful and scholarly work in the future. Praseeda Challapalli
