The 2019 International Conference on Public Administration, Policy and Governance (ICPAPG) is an international scale scientific gathering held by the State Administration Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Padang State University on November 4-6, 2019 at the UNP Auditorium in Padang, Indonesia. The chair of the International Conference on Public Administration, Policy and Governance (ICPAPG) committee is Adil Mubarak, S.IP., M.Si, who has successfully carried out a series of activities at the conference, namely a welcome dinner and cultural arts performances, seminars, parallel sessions, and tours. on core activities present as the keynote speaker were Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D (Chancellor of Padang State University), Prof. Dr. Margaret Sutton (United States of America), Prof. Dr. Rolando G. Talampas (Phillipines) and Prof. Dr. Ahmad Marthada Mohammed (Malaysia).

At this conference 70 presenters presented their manuscripts which were divided into several topics namely Public Administration, Public Policy, Public Management, Human Management Management, Public Service, Governance and Bureaucracy, Politics and Government, Sustainable Development, Environment and Disaster Management, E- Government and Management Information Systems, Islamic Studies, Administrative Law, Organizational Culture.

The aim of ICPAPG 2019 is to build the capacity of scholars and practitioners in public administration and policy in the face of the fourth industrial revolution. Another goal of the Conference is to develop collaboration among the stakeholders involved such as scholars, government, civil society and business. Finally, all texts that have been presented at this conference are expected to be published in reputable international proceedings.
