- Abstract
The current global issue of climate change and global warming has triggered increased attention from academics worldwide, leading to research efforts aimed at making carbon information easily accessible to people worldwide. The objective of this study is to estimate the potential carbon sequestration lost in the Batangtoru Ecosystem from 2000 to 2020. The total carbon reserve is calculated based on the total land use area with standard carbon reserves for each land use class. The total potential carbon sequestration lost in the Batangtoru ecosystem from 2000 to 2020 is 526,098.9 tons of Carbon.
