LP2M (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat or Center for Research and Community Outreach) of UIN Mataram and LP2M UIN Jakarta are pleased to host the 2nd ICONIST (International Conference on Islam, Science and Technology) 2019 in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia on 8th to 10th of October 2019. The main aim of the ICONIST 2019 conference is to provide an opportunity for academicians and professionals from various Islam, Science and Technology related fields from all over the world to come together and learn from each other. Furthermore, the conference is also targeted to be a premier venue for researchers and industry practitioners from cross-disciplinary interest related to Islam, Science and Technology to gather, share and interact with members inside and outside these areas of discipline.

Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference of Islam, Science and Technology (ICONIST) compile papers from researchers, academicians, lecturers, teachers, government agencies and consultants in various fields of Islam, Science, Technology, Education, Wellness and Quality of life, and Islamic finance and economics, and heritage and Islamic civilization. All of these crucial issues are hoped to improve the quality of human life and its civilization. There were 105 full papers submitted to the conference system before the review process and finally, 42 papers are published in the proceedings by Atlantis Press.
