It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we present this compilation of scholarly works emanating from the vibrant discussions and intellectual exchange during the conference held under the overarching theme, “Cultural Preservation, Social Equity, and Ecological Balance: Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future”. ICoMSi 2023 brought together a diverse assembly of participants from various corners of the globe, including Bangladesh, India, the United States, Finland, Australia, and Indonesia. The rich tapestry of perspectives and insights shared by scholars and researchers from different cultural backgrounds contributed to the conference’s success in fostering a truly global dialogue. In adapting to the dynamic landscape of international conferences, ICoMSi 2023 was organized as a hybrid event, blending both physical and virtual participation. The main venue, UNS Tower, served as the nexus where on-site attendees engaged in fruitful discussions while virtual participants connected from different parts of the world, transcending geographical boundaries. The conference, held on the auspicious date of October 19, 2023, provided a platform for scholars to delve into multifaceted discussions on cultural preservation, social equity, and ecological balance. These themes are crucial in shaping a sustainable and inclusive future for our global community. The presented papers encompass a spectrum of disciplines, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of contemporary research and the multifaceted challenges faced by our societies.
