- Abstract
This contemporary analysis delves into the representation of nationalism within Indonesian literary works. It explores how nationalism is portrayed, negotiated, and understood in the context of contemporary Indonesian literature. By examining a selection of literary texts spanning various genres and periods, this study seeks to elucidate the multifaceted manifestations of nationalism, including its historical roots, ideological underpinnings, and socio-cultural implications. Through a nuanced examination of themes, characters, and narrative techniques, the study aims to offer insights into the complex interplay between literature and nationalism in Indonesia, shedding light on the ways in which literary representations both reflect and shape national identity and collective consciousness.
