- Abstract
The application of digital literacy in Social Studies Education as a tool for social construction aims to examine the role of digital literacy in social studies education (SSE) as a crucial instrument in shaping and constructing society. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research explores how digital literacy is integrated into the SSE curriculum and its impact on the formation of students’ social, cultural, and political identities. The study also provides concrete examples of the application of digital literacy in SSE across various global contexts. This research highlights the importance of digital literacy in preparing students to face the increasingly complex challenges of the digital world.
