- Abstract
Considering the angle deviation of the molten pool images that is caused by the different position of multiple cameras in the process of the laser welding image acquisition, this paper put forward a kind of new image registration method based on quaternion and geometric moment, which expressed the molten pool images in the form of quaternion first , and then calculated the main shaft and the mass of the two images to be registered, getting the angle and displacement difference between the two images, finally realized two welding image registration work. Experiments showed that the method was simple and effective. It could fuse the difference among welding images caused by different imaginative angles.
