- Abstract
Synthetic aperture radar is a vital tool for imaging and remote sensing regardless of the villainous weather. Polarimetric synthetic aperture radar obtains the polarization characteristic of targets through polarized wave. This paper presents a novel technique, the combination of digital beamforming and the polarization code-diversion mode, to suppress the range ambiguity of the subapertures based on the simultaneous transmit and reception PolSAR. In the simulation the nulling steering technique proves to be better for the ambiguity mitigation than the conventional radar.
