Mechatronics and Industrial Informatics is a multidisciplinary field of engineering that includes a combination of systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, control engineering and computer engineering. The aim of Mechatronics and Industrial Informatics is a design process that unifies these subfields.

This volume records the accepted papers of 2015 3rd International Conference on Mechatronics and Industrial Informatics (ICMII 2015) which took place in Zhuhai China between 30 October and 31 in 2015. The total number of submitted papers is 486 and 188 are accepted. This conference brought together leading researchers and scientists in the domain of mechatronics and industrial informatics from across the nation. The experience of various researchers was intended to be brought to an audience comprising of young researchers, so that they get to know the state-of-the-art in the field.

We are grateful to the program committee members and the external reviewers for their hard work and expertise in selecting the program. Our special thanks go to many people worked together in organizing ICMII 2015 and ensuring its success. We hope that they found their involvement just as interesting and fun as we did.
