With the rapid development of global informatization technology and the deepening of education reform, academic research and practical exploration in the field of edu- cation and information management are increasingly attracting widespread attention. Against this background, the 2024 5th International Conference on Modern Education and Information Management (ICMEIM 2024) was successfully held, which brought together about 100 experts, scholars, educators, technology developers, and students in the field of education and information management from all over the world, to share the latest scientific research achievements and cutting-edge technologies, to discuss aca- demic development trends, and to promote the in-depth fusion of academic research and industrial practice.

The proceedings of this conference contains excellent contributions submitted from all over the world, covering information management in education science, knowledge management technology in education, educational technology applications, artificial intelligence in education, database technology, information system applications, mobile applications and learning, virtual classrooms and laboratories, online education and training, multimedia education and e-learning, pedagogical reform, and innovative edu- cational systems and applications, among many other areas. These papers not only reflect the current cutting-edge research results in the field of education and information management, but also explore possible future directions and trends.

During the editing process of the proceedings, we strictly follow the academic norms and review process to ensure that each paper undergoes rigorous peer review and quality control. All submissions were reviewed anonymously by at least two reviewers, assessing them on the basis of originality, depth of technical or research content, correctness, relevance to the conference, contribution, and readability. These high-quality research results have been selected and carefully polished for inclusion.
