- Abstract
The frame of the electric car is assembled from two parts. The lower part, made of welded pipes, carrying all aggregates. It supports the upper part of the frame made of composite profiles in 16 places. The rectangular system of composite beams fills an area measuring 4x2m. The beams are interconnected by steel braces. These are mainly placed in the crosses of the supporting structure. Furthermore, due to the variability and simplicity of assembly, the beams are not glued. When the structure is approved, it will be possible to glue the composite structure with steel reinforcements. The aim is to optimize this structure in terms of stresses and strains in case of an extraordinary event - the overturning of a loaded electric car while driving in a corner.
