- Abstract
This paper examines the roles and actions of female hero images in Disney animated films from the viewpoints of social role theory and cultural dimension theory, drawing on the feminist background to investigate the causes behind their emergence and influence. According to the analysis above, the female hero image not only reflects societal trends and encourages social change, but it also serves as an instructional tool for the audience considering changing circumstances.
