- Abstract
The teaching of painting creation is an important and difficult point in art teaching in Colleges and universities. At present, the curriculum of art teaching in Colleges and universities focuses on the training of basic painting skills, and the teaching link of painting creation is generally weak. This paper introduces the development trend of modern art education and the shortcomings faced by painting creation teaching, expounds the relationship between subconscious theory and painting creation, and puts forward the teaching idea of “exploring the subconscious” to stimulate creative inspiration and the training method of transforming psychological experience into visual images.
