Abstract

The gluttonous pattern which is decorated on Shang dynasty bronze has received much attention due to their solemn and mysterious artistic characteristics. This paper provides an overview of embodiment in contemporary art by studying the cultural connotation and aesthetic value of gluttonous pattern. In addition, the inheritance of gluttonous ornamentation as a decorative language in contemporary art designing is investigated.
