Abstract

Traffic State subarea partition problem has been a hot topic. A sub-area partition algorithm is proposed in this paper based on state connectivity matrix with flow variance in intersections within the road network. The principle of subarea partition is posed in the paper, and a dynamic algorithm is designed based on the principle. An example demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm.
